Serving Nevada since 1987, the HSO is the silver state’s only community symphony orchestra, delivering on its mission to promote Classical Music appreciation and education to a varied and diverse audience, and to contribute to the cultural community of Southern Nevada. With a long tradition of providing free concerts and events to residents throughout the Las Vegas Valley , the HSO provides 11 concerts a year in a variety of venues. Today, the HSO engages over 80 musicians in concert performances, interactive Music 4Kids Concerts, Young Artists Competition, and HSO Conductor Camp and enjoys signature sponsor support from the City of Henderson and Lake Las Vegas.
